painting
So I want to paint my hood to get rid of the fading paint. Does anyone have any recommendations on paint and or application process. I do not have a sprayer. I was thinking about getting one, but don't really like the cost.
Any ideas? |

Re: painting
This is a scale model car building forum, so you might be in the wrong place. Model cars live indoors, so they usually aren't exposed to the sun. It might be hard to find a perfect match. You may need to repaint the entire body.
If the car is real, and also nice, see your local body shop. If it's a 25-year-old beater, a spray can might be just the thing. Sand and prime and sand again before applying the color coat.
