new saleen
obviously by the sn i have i own a zx2. i live near a saleen dealer... and those cars go as fast as they look. but does anyone else think that saleen should spread there wings through out the ford line? like the crown vic? i wanted desperately to see a saleen zx2 (just because they look the part of the sporty look, not like the bubble car we lovingly call the focus). and i have heard that they had a concept that put out 220 hp in like 2001<? maybe. or how about a saleen f350, or ranger? sure they wouldnt be as cool in the looks department but if saleen does to the f 350 what it did to the mustang < that thing would bloody scream.

Re: new saleen
not quite... thats more when you see the bottom line on that price ticket.... or when you hit 150 and that pisser civic changes right into your lane as you pass a semi.

Re: new saleen
i dunno. im more of a beater car kinda guy ( i something i can floor and not be too worried about breaking something). maybe someday as a collector car... or i might just use and abuse it . cuz those cars deserve to be driven... i HATE perfect wax, tires never touch asphault, shiny, all show no go , show cars. a car is designed to be driven first shown off second. and that does both really well. they are 40 sum thousand. my college's first 9 months is 23 grand, then itll be another 10 after that for the added classes... so if i do it will be long after i have that paid off. (midlife crisis kinda stuff)

Re: new saleen
off and on they try to spread things out. theyre now coming out with a f150 saleen. there have been saleen focuses for a few years now equipped with nitrous kits. there was a thunderbird prototype. ive seen saleen contours but i dont know if it made it into production. the explorer xp8 got dropped now i think but was around for a few years. theyre building the ford GT for ford. then obviously the mustang s281 & the s7.
