Backup camera issues
I bought a universal backup camera online, it's wireless and has the screen in the rearview mirror. I went to put it on and everything hooked up well except now the screen on the mirror flickers when the car isn't in reverse. The picture is clear and uninterrupted when in reverse but in any other gear the screen flashes consistently and doesn't stop no matter what I do. It's not flashing an image of behind me it's just flashing on and off with light. Any suggestions? Any kind of help to fix this issue would be awesome!

Re: Backup camera issues
Its definitely some kind of frequency interference. It could be caused by whatever you used for power or it could even be being caused by your radio. Try driving with your radio off and see if it you have the same issue.

Re: Backup camera issues
I've tried turning off all extra accessories and it still happens. I might just have to get a wired one. Can't I just get the right rca cables longoing enough for my car and wire it that way since the wireless transmitters disconnect? Or would I still have the same problems?

Re: Backup camera issues
If the camera has the option to make it a wired set up that could solve the issue.
