Looking for engine build up kit for 2001 5.3.

I looked at summit racing but they only had one for the 350, I would like pistons, rods crank, cams all the seals and such. Anyone know where I can find a kit close to the 350 kit summit has?

THanks

I just went through replacing the engine in my truck b/c I couldnt find a rebuilt kit. I don't think they make them yet, or if they do I could not find one.

Re: Looking for engine build up kit for 2001 5.3.

No, I had to put a 5.3 back in it. I got a used one from a junkyard out of a truck that had been rearended and totalled. It had somewhere around 55K on it, and it runs excellent! They even gave me a 90 day warranty, whcih isnt much, but hey.. The engine, plus getting my old one pulled, and the new one installed was $2500 on the dot.

you can try www.truckperformance.com , I've heard good things about that site. I'm not too sure about supercharger parts, I don't know much about them yet.
