They're a neat looking car, from way back. I was looking at one once, had more bodyfiller in it than you could shake a finger at. Still would have been a fun first car.

They're basically the predicessor to the Mini. A little bigger and older looking though.

my dad had one for his first car, he put th carb off a cortina (cant remember what the carb is called, was it the GT maybe?) ran lean as, blue/black smoke coming out the pipe, he drove it like that for about a month.......
you still see a few around NZ, even some with V8 in them but most of them are restored or are still driven by the original owners who bought them of the showroom floor, and have only put 20,000 k's on them anyways....... |

Re: Minor?
Here's a web site of a guy who has 3 of 'em.
http://home.wxs.nl/~beere101/home.html When I was a student I owned a 1962 Morris Minor van, then later a 1961 4-door saloon. |

Re: Minor?
A buddy of mine has a Minor Traveller. He dropped in a Datsun engine. Killer car.
Went to a So-Cal Brit show this past fall and some guy dropped in a 67 corvette engine. He re-made the fire wall by taking a steel wheel barrow and welding it in place. I have pictures, give me a few day to post some John |

Re: Minor?
In the book Pro Paint & Body by HPBooks the author covers some of the restoration his Minor, before that I'd never heard of them.
