Skoda caught fire
My Skoda Octavia caught fire two days back (10th April 2011) for no apparent reason, and was burnt to ashes in minutes. My husband had got barely got out of the car and had not even locked it when he noticed smoke inside the car. Within minutes, the vehicle burst into flames and completely burnt in a matter of minutes.
It was a less than 3 yr old diesel car with no CNG fitted. We had maintained it well and it was in an impeccable condition. Had got it serviced from the authorised Skoda service station just two weeks back and they had certified it to be in perfect condition. Pls see the photo..its shocking and horrifying. My husband could have been dead if he hadnt come out with that split second difference. The company says it will investigate. But since the incident for reported in Indian media, i've got mails from 7 other skoda owners who have complained of a similar problem. |
