BMW E36 Touring
I had recently bought one 1/1 scale 328i. After I had been looking for models of this car I only found some picīs of a E36 Touring and it seemed to be from a Revell kit. Now, am I right or...? Is there anyone who had buildt one? And again have revell made a kit of E36 Touring? I had some Revell/Tamiya and Dragon kits to modify into a Touring, but I think itīs better to get a real kit or may be two so I can collect one too.

Re: BMW E36 Touring
Revell never made a E36 Touring.
Just the Coupé the 4door and the compact. Tools are same as Dragon (M3, Compact) and Hasegawa (4door) Most interesting, IMO, are the Alpina B6 4door and the Rieger Compact by Revell |

I think it's one way: buy a 4 door & make a custom touring like this:E36 touring

Yes; this is exactly the one I meant!!! My Frech isnīt so good but is this Touring a really custom build? I had spoken with a Revell expert/dealer and he says that revell had made a kit of an E36 BMW 328i Touring availible for a short time. |

It's a real custom build, he used the alpina B6 & a roof of a M3 E30 serie (styrene & polyester it's good too...). Maybe the taillights are difficult to modify but I don't think. I hope you'll do a identic project, that will be cool. |

It seems like I had to make a custom build of a saloon E36 and use some bodyparts from an E30 model. Revells Alpina B6 looks perfect course it has an engine and the hood is not molded to the body. I had built the Alpina and know about this kit. The only problem is to find one. They seemed to be out of production.
