84 Sunbird Front Swaybar Removal
ok, the manual makes this look pretty easy...
Car on jackstands, remove end links (including 24 year old original that takes 3 hours and a torch). Loosen and remove front sway bar to body bolts and slide bar out driver side after removing wheel. There is no way that will work as I described it. There is not enough room once you remove the sway bar-body nuts for the U bolts to come free from around the bushings. Any ideas here? This has to have been discussed before. I want to get the bar refinished and put some nice energy sustension bushings on there. Advice Appreciated. |
