00 cant lock brake release cable in.. need help

ok i had to to unhook the brake release cable to install a remote car starter...
now i put it back and i install it.. but its not the typical shaped brake release cables where they lock in i guess

as when i put it in where it fits you pull on it releases the brake but then it falls off the bracket...

does anyone have a pic or send me a pic of how the end should be hooked up on this truck
