Is your part organizer a Home Depot Stanley 17 Compartment Small Parts Organizer?

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Sounding like a broken record here but, Wow! Excellent build.
Might I ask how much you found this kit for? I stopped by my LHS yesterday motivated by your build and this kit was going for a whopping $70! Couldn't pull the trigger... Jim |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Thanks, Jim! My LHS shop had it priced at $70 also, but he gave me 30% off
Because I'm a repeat customer, so around $50. I then added the $65 detail kit, and $30 for the decals (Ebay)... around $145, plus paint, etc. |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
This stuff adds up doesn't it?! I'm as guilty as any: Tons of kits and detail up parts. Drives my wife crazy. I've accumulated a critical mass of supplies so I am focusing on getting builds, mainly OOB, done.
Looking forward to all updates, Marco! Go Man Go! Jim |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Marco - I realize you're busy but please more detailed pics on the front end (forks) etc and wiring-brakes.
Paintwork looks good but can't tell from the pics - not close enough - decals look good too. Did you clear the painted/decaled body parts? which kind? any polishing? John |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Thanks Jim, and John! Sorry I've been away 4 days on a road trip, including an IPMS contest. I'll post closeups as soon as the fork is wired up, and brake cables are installed! Thanks for watching! Marco

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
I liked this kit so much I just ordered the '07 Repsol version!
I've completed the handlebar assembly, plenty of PE, detail painting, tiny decals, and washes. The bodywork is far from done, as it has only 2 coats of lacquer. I created a weld around the fuel cap before priming, as on the real 1:1 machine. Enjoy! Comments/criticism welcomed Marco |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Hi Zonic, Yes, I was awarded First Place in the motorcycle category for a
2005 YZR-M1 #24 Toni Elias/ Fortuna bike I built earlier this year. Took third place as well. Quite pleased. Made a great 4 day road trip out of it on the Oregon coast! There were tons of high quality models there, learned a lot. Thanks, for asking... Marco Last edited by MarcoMoto; 09-30-2014 at 03:02 PM. Reason: forgot something |

Re: 2007 Honda RS250RW Scot team/Dovisioso (Hasegawa)
Another chunk of progress, I completed the front end wiring, installed the instrument cluster permanently,
added the fairing supports, and a few miscellaneous pieces of wiring and tubing.. getting close now, just the footpegs, brake and clutch levers, and more lacquer on the body panels... Enjoy! Marco |
