I just got a Redline Xtreme energy shot drink thing. Heard several people say this was the most powerful energy drink they've ever had. We'll see....

Re: SERIOUSLY OT: Calling all chicks! IT'S PART 6!!

Never had an energy shot or even an energy drink before. I'm super sensitive to that kind of thing. Took a caffeine pill once in high school, and had to go to the nurses office and lay down for the rest of the day. By comparison, I could drink 2-liters of Mountain Dew in one sitting, years later and be fine. Now I can't even drink 1-liter of it in a 4 hour period, without getting the shakes. Shit is messed up.

Did the nurse give you an enema? Was it one of those kind of visits?

Come on now, why do you have to bring that up? I spent years in therapy to forget all about it.

Man I have to admit, even drinking sometimes 3 energy drinks a day (usually its 2, sometimes I accidentally consume another) this Redline shit is the real deal. I'm fucking wired, and jittery. And typing with more typos than Drew (you guys don't know drew, friend of mine... Texting him is like playing scrabble with a 3 year old.

Hey now. She may have been in her 60's overweight, a face full of gnarly moles, and stunk like she she hadn't bathed for weeks... but she sure did have a gentle caress on that turkey baster. I suppose I should mention she was also the lunch lady.

Damn, don't how you people do it. I know a guy who's a bodybuilder type (met his father through my friend's landlord because he's a pro welder), and by bodybuilder I mean gym rat who shoots up to get big. He drinks 4-6 Monsters a day, every day. No wonder his liver is failing him (clearly roids hurt more than the drinks, but still).

Back in my early years I couldn't drink them, got all jittery and shit. Hated the taste-- most taste like paint thinner of sorts. Then Coke Blak came out, anyone remember that shit? It was only on the market for like a year... actually come to think of it I don't know if it ever actually went "on the market" I remember talking about it online and other people had never seen it and I looked it up and it was being tested in various markets, guess I lived in one of those. Anyway, those are what turned me onto the high caffeine drinks. Then it was discontinued, then not long after was the big energy drink boom, dabbled in them here and there, not serious. I was throwing news papers at the time, so the extra energy was nice to keep me from falling asleep on my 100 mile route (rural area, more miles than papers). Anyhoo, not long after I moved to Portland was was in college and needed to be awake 40 hours a day it seemed and I started drinking Bawls pretty regularly, it didn't give me the jitters like the others. skip ahead a year or so and I'm drinking all sorts of energy drinks, working my way up. I've quit several times, once for like a year or so, then I'll be running slow one morning and pick one up and BAM back on them all the time. Caffeine- its a mother fucker.

Hell yeah, I remember Coke Blak, that coffee flavored one. I tried it once before, but I'm not a coffee person, so I just wasn't in to it. My parents bought a 6-pack of bottles (not sure it came in a can), they both had 2 (they are massive coffee drinkers), I had 1, and the other bottle stayed in the fridge for a year plus, until I threw that shit away.

I tried to quit smoking and drinking soda/caffeine a few years ago. I had already quit drinking and weed at that point, so it was a no-fucking-go. I quit smoking for 3 weeks, but I drank a Coke the next fucking day. I can tell at night if I haven't even had one caffeinated soda in a day (even if it's before 3pm), I just feel so damn tired and want to sleep at 6pm, after literally doing nothing all day long.

LOL I have no clue what you're talking about, but that shit is hilarious, regardless. You know real Scottish people go commando when wearing them right? Pretty creepy.

yeah the Coke Blak did not go over well I don't think. And I believe your correct, it only came in the glass bottles (10oz ish, smaller than your average bottle) and they were ridiculously expensive for the time, close to three bucks I think. Remember finding a recipe online for it too and making it myself a couple times after it was discontinued (it was basically like 50/50 coke and coffee, not hard to figure out lol)
