Need help badly..1996 vanden plas..
So my dad trusted me with his vanden plas and gave it to me as a present for getting my operators..well a week and a half later my mom wouldn't stop bugging me about coming home and 6 calls later i look down in the cup holder to see she's calling again and when i look up im running right into a sign at about 20 mph but i panicked and lifted my foot and hit the gas again instead of the breaks and i managed to turn enough so i didn't run into it head on but hit the side but the thing is its a hill beside the sign and i went up on that and the mirror hit the sign and broke (easy fix) but the big thing that happened is a low car like that isn't built for off rode apparently..so this happened.. this is at the front right of the car.
what is this? How can i get it fixed? How much will it be? Im willing to take out all of my savings to get this car fixed for my dad...please help me. |

part of the harness is for your air bags, thats the yellow conduit part. other parts could be for your lights or engine part, not sure. you can try soldering the correct wires back together then re-wrapping the harness in tape and putting it back where it belongs or you can go to car-part.com. they show a electrical harness for your car at a yard in florida.

"that is the WIRING HARNESS.. i am NOT sure but i think that harness goes all the way around the car.. but i could be wrong.. disconnect the battery and DO NOT LET ANYBODY hook it back up.. do not attempt to roll the windows up.. that is going to cost a SIGNIFICANT amount of cash to fix. you may need to buy something like this.. looks like it may be sold.. http://panamacity.craigslist.org/cto/5056798476.html looks like some of the harness sections are available.. this is the left side.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1711563...lpid=82&chn=ps here is the right side harness.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1812772...lpid=82&chn=ps but i cannot tell how it unplugs.. perhaps it is NOT as bad as it looks.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1812452...lpid=82&chn=ps " Now that FENDER TO ENGINE MOTOR WIRE WIRING HARNESS would be all i need right?..Sorry man im only 17 i dont know much about cars...i really want to help my dad..desperate to make him smile again . |
