In Progress: Tamiya 1/35 Sherman M4A3 105mm Howitzer (Assault Support)
Hi, I just thought I would show you all what has been keeping me busy lately. I decided to take a break from the norm, and show something different. I wasnt sure of where exactly to put it, so thats why its here in the Street Forum. Please bare in mind though, I am far from a decent modeler, but I do think this is one of my best so far. The model is a Tamiya 1/35 scale Sherman M4A3 105mm Howitzer (Assault Support).
All I have left to do is put the decals on, and then apply the final coat of flat/dullcote. Hope you like them!

What are you talking about not street?
Looks nice. My Dad used to build tanks, and like dyowelb said, needs to be way weathered.

A little dirt on the tank and it's all ready to go!

Yeah, you should go for a good weathering.
- black wash on the tracks - steel dry brush on tracks details. They seem to be mud tracks so they are all made of steel. Road tracks are made of steel with a rubber pad. - brown wash all over the tank. - steel drybrush where the crew pass over (where they put their feet) - a thin coat of sand (in can or with an airbrush) on the bottom, to make it dusty - light brown wash around the fuel tank and its opening. - .... Just my 2 cents .. |

We'll say it just rolled off the "show room floor" lol.
Looks good from my experience with armor. |
