You definately have a one-of-a-kind seeing as the isuzu vehicross was only in production from 1999-2001 (in the US anywaze ). There's nothing cheap about them at all in the US. They hold their value VERY well.

Sweet rig lenny!! How's that 3.5L treat you? Just curious, what viscosity oil do you run in the UK?
Thanks man!

my vx is a 3.2 not a 3.5 i have no idea why in the us market the vx is a 3.5 and in japan they are 3.2 only thing i can think of is the octane of fuel,

i run my vx on mobil 1 or lucas full synthetic oils

Oh yeah.. I forgot the 3.5L didn't go into production until 1998 , but then again, the engine you have (3.2L DOHC) didnt come to the US until 1998 either. The vehicross was a Japanese import for the US as well (from 1999-2001). I was curious as to what viscosity motor oils you run over there because we seem to be having a lot of 1998+ 3.2/3.5's spinning rod bearings and/or burning oil here. People commonly run 5w-30 or 10w-30 here & I'm wondering if that's too thin for these engines?

Hello Lenny

I just got mine yesterday and really enjoy it. I have an 88 Sami lifted and in great shape but for health reasons had to get into a 4x4 a little different. I am selling the Sami so I can help pay for the VX. My VX is a 1999 with 105000 miles and appears to be in pretty good shape. I tried to up load pictures but it failed - don't know why. Mine is the astral grey. The carfax indicates it has never had any problems other than regular maint. I posted some pictures of it on photobucket, I also have some of the Sami there (http://s292.photobucket.com/albums/mm37/etnemo/).
