So I just done a head count, 18 popes, 1 water pipe, and one vaporizer. I've long been wanting to load them all and simultaneously take hits till its gone or I'm gone.

Been a while since I've heard zip, but it was the defining word for an oz around here forever.

Definitely say sneakers or sneaks around here as well.

A lot of people I've met from Western NY say pop, as well as my elderly family members. But most people here just call it soda. Even carbonated energy drinks are referred to as soda by people (which bugs me for some reason). When my partially disabled friend asks me to get him a "soda" from his fridge, to save him a uncomfortable walk to the kitchen, it's usually for some AMP energy drink. He acted like I was the idiot when I brought him a Dr. Pepper instead of an AMP.

Thats called doin it right. I hope its some Popeyes or better... but the only way to get better is to not get your fried bird from a fast foodish chicken joint

The popeyes is across town so I went to KFC- this one is not too bad quality though. My chicken preferences do rank Popeyes, Churches, then KFC though.

And where I'm from "Coke" is used to describe all soft drinks. Such as "hey, grab me a coke" "sure, what kind?"

Here in Portland it seems to be a pretty diverse mix of Soda and Pop.

I imagine in Portland, all soda or pop or soda pop is crafted by some artisan dude who rides the bike with the gigantic front wheel and little back wheel while he juggles pigmy midgets with handlebar moustaches

Its scary how correct you are and how accurate that show is. The local pizza chain "Hot Lips" makes their own soda, and at saturday market there is always local made soda, and I actually work a block up from a specialty soda shop- hundreds and hundreds of different kinds from all over the world.

Funny enough, a lot of shows that are based in Boston, are actually filmed in Portland. Such as Leverage. I guess downtown here looks very similar to downtown Boston
