would this work to bipass rear heat?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read and consider responding to my post. So, I have a 2002 Wind star and if I were to join lines 1 and 1 from the attached picture would this by-pass my rear heater and create a loop. The reason for doing so is becuase one of those lines ruptured and just need to get back on the road but can't do so until i fix or bi-pass that section of my cooling system.

Yes, one can bypass the loop going to the rear heater. But it is easier just to "block-off", not by-pass, the rear loop. Just plug both lines. I think this would work best. Not matter what you block off, or by pass, the engine cooling is not compromised in the least.
