Question 9-7X due date?

I want to know wwhen the Saab 9-7X is being released. i like it alot. but it is like the 6th or 7th version of the Chevy Trailblazer. it has suspension and engine adjustments to make a sportier ride. but what will it compete with? the BMW X5 or BMW X3?

Re: 9-7X due date?

The 9-7x will be based on the Trailblazer/Rainer/etc. It should've been based off the Caddy SRX, but Caddy said no. It's supposed to go up against the midsize/fullsize luxury set (the midsized suv's all go bigger recently), which includes the x5. As for the x3, saab is working with subaru on a 9-6x (based on subaru's b9, just like the 9-2x is based on the impreza wrx) to compete in that segment.
