With over 12 months worth of doom and gloom suffocating the motor trade it is hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel.
These times have been very hard for everyone and especially hard for the remaining old school 'Arthur Daily's' in the industry. As someone who is relatively new to the industry It had become apparent that this pathetic stereo-type still lingers today.
Although the stereo-type remains, the cowboys are being washed out rapidly as customers seek a better alternative. Through my personal frustration of people tarnishing salesman as 'scum of the earth' it became an aim of mine to turn it all around. At the beginning of this year I decided to open my own
used car business in Surrey with a different attitude to try and change peoples opinion.
I believe in the months ahead we could see a
massive change in the used car trade sector as the 'new generation' of businesses take on the slap dash, con artists of the past. What do you think?
What do you find the most frustrating thing about used car traders?
Do you know an 'Arthur Daily' in your town?
How can I help change this image around?
Any comments would be gratefully received!
