***RARE*** TSi ***RARE***
For Sale: A Rare Dream Come True!
1989 Conquest TSi w/ 76,000 original miles! $9,000 obo (aka Colt Starion) Original List Price: $18,974 (That’s $28,220.76 in 2005!) Contact Paul: tsi@eightsix.net Believe it, I know it’s hard, but here is a 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSi with only 76,000 original miles. This is a rare opportunity to own one of history’s unique Japanese sports cars, a car heralded for bringing in the turbo explosion of the 80’s. Those of you who know this vehicle, it needs no introduction, for everybody else: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Starion Now is your chance to own a piece of history and experience the joy of a FR Inline 4 TURBO! Purchased this car in October of ’05 with big dreams and intentions but as the story usually goes; kids, life and wife all got in the way. This is the cleanest TSi I have seen in person; all original paint and body looks better than most 5 year old cars, let alone a 17 year old vehicle! Interior is in decent condition but will need some work to make showroom. Engine runs good, idles great and still pulls as only a turbo can. The ride is surprisingly smooth while still maintaining good handling characteristics. Details: Chrysler Conquest TSi 76,000 Original Miles G54B SOHC 2.6L I4 Turbo FR/RWD AT/PS/PW/AC/Power Mirrors/Alarm Work Done: New Alternator and Belt AC Serviced New Plugs (Platinum) Oil Changes every 3,000K Toggle switch installed for flip up headlights (OE switch doesn’t work, but the lights do!) Toggle switch installed for AC (OE AC ON switch doesn’t work, but the AC does!) Work Needed: Probably going to need a new power steering pump at some point Probably a new battery Don’t know about anything else but it’s an ’89, you have to expect something to break! Conclusion: This car has been owned/highway driven for the last year and has only needed the above mentioned repairs. Minor stuff for a sports car, let alone an ’89! The pictures below really speak for themselves! |
