So I watched Guardians of the Galaxy last night... or at least I tried to. Didn't do much for me. Maybe my sleep/THC/CBD levels were out of whack

I guess I'll give it another shot before I banish the disc back to Netflix

woah, you still go disc? I got one of those from Redbox a while back, kept it for like two weeks. $30 dvd rental. Meh. Streaming doesnt care if I keep something paused for 4 weeks.

I have not seen G of the G either, SciFi (SyFy?) is not my general genera.

Do you/have you/are you/will you watch Six Feet Under? I've watched it about once a week for the past six week, then stepped it up, watched two episodes this week. Its a very odd show, one show that I can say is not over the top, but I never have a clue about the twists that it throws out sometimes. I'm intrigued, still wont say I "like" it yet... but I certainly have enjoyed the weirdness that happens sometimes.

Seems im one of 12 people left on earth doing the netflix mail service. It just takes so dam long for the good stuff to get to their streaming library (if it ever gets there) and I like to get the Blu Ray so I can justify the debt that went into obtaining my tv.

Haven't seen Six Feet though. I would give it my usual test.... 4 episodes before I bail. Thats what Boardwalk Empire got outta me before I left Buscemi and his teeth in the rear view

Wanted to see it in the theater after it got good nerd reviews, but I spent all my money on beer instead. Figured I could spend get drunk 4 nights in a row instead of going to see one movie in a theater. Paid off because I saw an ad a few days ago for it on Starz (no air date mentioned), when I watched Captain America: Winter Soldier.

The problem I have with all the latest Marvel movies is that they start out moving slowly to build the story, but then the last 45 minutes, that they spent the past hour plus building up to, just seems incredibly rushed. Basically it's: re-introduce the character(s), show how they've been dealing with their lives since the last movie, introduce minor villain & have a fight, internal conflict with main character & his group, introduce main villains & their plan, 30 minutes of internal conflict with main character & his group, and at this point 75% of the movie is over with. The rest is the main villain fight, followed by some somber shit over someone dying, getting stabbed in the back, or trying to keep the group together. Holy shit... I could totally write a Marvel movie.

So I tried watching The Interview the other night. I'm convinced the Sony hack was some sort of marketing ploy. I made it through about 20 minutes and had to turn that shit off. Truly the 2nd worst movie I've ever "watched" in my life (can't even remember what the worst one was, because it was so horrible).

But my theory is that they spent so much money making the movie, that when it watched it, they knew it was going to tank. So instead of just scrapping it, they came up with the "hack" thing, so they could get promotion for it, and still release it on On Demand.

Congrats Spoon, I'd been on the fence for a while, your post just confirmed it. I could not give a fuck about this place anymore. Last-o Post-o, Mr. Roboto.

Good luck with the revival.

Well damn. If we knew it was that easy to make you leave, AF should have gave me some kind of perk back in the day, for me to annoy the shit out of you, instead of them having to ban you all those times.

I watched that trash ass movie. Basically a 90 minute festival of gay jokes.... and not very funny ones. Aside from the over the top racist shit that also wasn't as funny as it needed to be for as offensive as it was.

That would be kind of make you look like a badass. You could be like

"You want to test me? I banned my Blaze Bro, bitch! You don't think I'll ban you?!"
