2008 Aura - Drivers Power Seat
2008 Saturn Aura - XE - 3.5L - Seat just stopped working. Could not find a fuse in the engine compartment nor on the center console fuse blocks. Which fuse is for the seat?

Look for the DRV SEAT 30A fuse in the rear compartment fuse box. In the trunk, behind L/R wheel area.

Re: 2008 Aura - Drivers Power Seat
Thanks, found the fuse, replaced, and it promptly blew again. Cannot keep doing that at $5 / ea. Any thoughts on why the seat is blowing the fuses? I do not have the equipment to troubleshoot (multimeter, amp clamp, etc...) All the connectors on the seat are in place, the seat operates with a 40A fuse; which tells me the seat motors are operational. The fuse blew when the seat was "bottomed" out against a hard stop.

Re: 2008 Aura - Drivers Power Seat
You either have a shorted wire, shorted switch, or the seat motor is pulling too much amperage. Be careful with installing oversized fuses as you may find the problem by way of a fire. Could smoke an entire harness or give you a very hot seat. Unplug each motor, one at a time, and see if the fuse blows, unplug the seat module and see if it blows.
