Re: RC Gallery

I love that car yo. The grasshopper is the one with the body one. And no front bumber. The other with no body and no rear wheels and such is the hammerhead. Im trying to design custom hub carriers in mastercam to get some milled for me to drive it again.

Tamiya 350Z race car, my first one

This is my first R/C model. It's a Tamiya 350Z race car. I've been working on it all summer during breaks between work and school, and I definitely had a lot of fun. Everything went together easily, except I had to get a new body because I cut too much when trimming the other one (I think I can fix it, though.) I decided to paint it black like my real car, and leave the big wing off. I guess I'll do some uprades next. What should I do first, besides a motor upgrade. It's the TL-01 chassis.

Re: RC Gallery

Well, not knowing anything about your chassis...
The first thing I'd do is trim those body posts!
Then, get a bigger motor...
Maybe even go brushless...

Well the first thing you should get is metal bearings they make a huge differenece to your cars performance. At $69.99 it isn't a cheap upgrade but it is the only upgrade that both increases the top speed of your car and its overall efficiency.

Do not buy a modified motor without first making the Ball-Bearing upgrade, doing so may cause your transmission cases to melt as well as the chassis.

Mine's the most bashed by the looks of it. Ah well it's the only shell I have.
Dunno why there's a fox racing sticker on the front but I like it.
