I dont have much mentally invested in MMA but I dont like Silva after these last two fights. I recognize that he is one of the better talents in the short history of MMA but to get your ass knocked the fuck out like he did in the last fight and then talk all that shit (from what Ive heard) before this one only to have your leg snapped like a dry spaghetti noodle seems mighty chumpish


In other chump news, I hear rumblings about the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight again but I dont even wanna see it anymore. 3 years ago I was sure Pac Man would be able to take Floyd but now Floyd would embarrass him in the ring. I still say Floyd ducked him for two years though

I don't think heard him really talked too much trash before this fight. I think people dislike him, because of the cocky way he fights, myself included. Especially since the way he fought in their first fight, was one of the most disrespectful "performances" he ever had.

Notice the fake "Oh, I'm hurt and about to be KO'd", lowering of hands and drop of the body shenanigans. Of course followed shortly by the real thing


I can't say for sure that was the most arrogant performance he ever put on. There was his fight in Abu Dhabi. The son (Prince ?) of the Abu Dhabi runs a government owned entertainment company. He/they purchased a 10% stake in the UFC, and decided to have an event there, and built as huge outdoor stadium for that one show (took it down the next day). Anderson decided his opponent wasn't shit, so he did absolutely nothing in the fight, and was even warned by the ref about constantly backing away from his opponent. The UFC threatened to fire him if he ever did it again, and they have no plans to ever go back to Abu Dhabi, because it was so disrespectful & boring.

But he got away with it for 7 years, doing the same thing, he was that good. Karma will get ya every time.

I absolutely agree with the Pacquiao/Mayweather thing. That ship sailed long ago, even more so after Pacman's KO loss. Mayweather absolutely ducked him, in fact leading up to the Canelo fight, he admitted that his team chose lesser opponents for him to fight. Then he tried to make it seem like a noble thing, because he "made a lot of lesser known fighters a lot of money".

Nonsense.... he took fights with lesser fighters cause he could dictate his take of it all much easier AND he was scared Pac Man could take away that undefeated title. Then lesser fighters could still make their name off trying to be Loss #2

Looks like I'll be sticking with it for a bit longer. Damn soldering iron is over 10 years old, and doesn't get hot enough to do anything. It won't even melt the damn solder that's been stuck on the tip for years, so I could clean it. I'd need one that has a sharper tip anyways. If I wasn't still sick, and it wasn't snowing bad out right now, I'd hit up the local radioshack and buy a new one. I am so pissed.

Got a new soldering iron today Swapped the capacitors, and my monitor works again. Shit is crazy. I used that old POS for so long, that I forgot what using a real monitor was like. With the resolution jacked up, it's easily 3 times as big. One happy Spoon today.
