Performance mods
I bought a 2002 Supercharged X last week (wanted one sence they came out in 99), and am looking to make a lot of performance mods, and not give up my 4-wheeling capability.... i want to start with a:
1)smaller pully for my supercharger....however advice i have received is to wait and find a chip to work with it before hand... any advice? 2) get a cold air intake, i am told overall this is probably the best 1st mod as it will aid in most aspects. 3)Catback exhaust system.... another choice to aid in the volume and gas mileage of the X. Any adive on where to start and other mods... my buddies all have muscle cars and like to race vs. "RICE" (hondas and the like with fart cans, and huge pointless wings...) the other day i smoked one and thought it could be cool to do something diferent with my X I am not very mechanicly inclined so any advice would be nice Thanks |

Re: Performance mods
I'd say start with posting in the correct area, Drivetrain perhaps...

Re: Performance mods
A K&N or Volant FIPK would probably help best. There really aren't a lot of mods that are going to get you more than 10-14hp.
