Which car has the most "bells and whistles"?

Which car has the coolest interior, not DVD players and T.V's but stock things that are cool. For ex, my freind has an older model Infinity G20 and in the glove compartment, there is a button that locks the trunk, the only way you could open it is if you press the button again (cant open it with a key from outside). Also, my firend has a mazda and it has swivel A.C ( the vents move from left to right by themselfs) I would call these "bells and whilstles" in my opinon so if you know of some cars which have some cool features...

One of the most useful options that aren't available for a lot of new cars is the outside keypad. Some American cars from the 80's had it. I know that Ford still has it for a lot of its trucks and some passenger cars. Never have to worry about getting locked out of the car again.

Talking

I'd have to say my 02 Grand Prix GT, I have all radio controls on the steering wheel including a mute button, heads up display which can be changed to mph, compass and temp gauge in the mirror on board "computer" tells me fuel used oil life, how far I've travelled and the distance I can go with what's in the tank.

The King Ranch Trucks had a beer cooler console in the rear and the lincold navigators have automatic sliding running boards. Mazda 626's have oscilating fans ( like celica was talking about ) also the navigators and aviators have folding sterio covers heated or a/c seats. Boy theres alot of fun stuff mixed about out there and I love some of the ideas.

I have an S600, and an SL65 and I keep finding new things to play with every day.

Some of the more novel features include:

Radar distance/cruise control
Heated steering wheel
Heated and air conditioned seats
Intelligent foot break
Pop out boot handle (so that you don't get finger prints on the paint)
Triple glazing
Electric rear blinds
Hands free entry and keyless start
Self-closing doors
Champagne cooler
Fax machine
3 TV’s with regional programmes, sat nav, DVD and PS2
Voice activation to major interior controls,
Etc etc...

I don't think that you can really get any more than that. The Maybach 67 is in a league of its own though.

He he. That'll teach me to type before I think. I must have got the 57 & the 62 mixed up. A 6.7 meter long Maybach would be the size of a small yacht. I'm sure somebody would buy one though.

Thanks for pointing that out...

Re: Which car has the most "bells and whistles"?

Id like to think my 97 Olds Aurora has alot of nice factory features. Bose Audio, trunk lock in golve, passenger climate control, passenger lighters, Digital compass reveiw mirror, glare dimming mirrors, defroster side mirrors, airbags in seat inflate for lumbar support. The reallly cool ones are that the passenger mirror tilts down to assist in parallel parking when in reverse, On Board Computer telling oil life, pressure, battery charge, trans life, eta, gallons used, distance available on tank, avg milage and instant gas mileage and monitors all systems. Also I love the multiple head visors that have extensions to block sun from every angle seriously... Theres also a thing in the trunk to open the gas tank. Radio controls and Climate controls on steering wheel, 3 door garage opener built in, Traction control, leather everything, 4.0 32 valve DOHC Northstar V8 250 horsepower stock, I Love this car.

Re: Which car has the most "bells and whistles"?

Aurora's , I almost got fired a few years back workin for gm , I layed a 10 foot patch in the parking lot with it after I cleaned it the owner of the dealership scolded me then laughed cus it was cool even tho it wasnt. Yup they have alot of class comparable to some high end model cars however the aurora is rare and not too many younger folks drivem so most folks look at them as a fancy mature car hey it works for me!

Re: Which car has the most "bells and whistles"?

I completely agree, they are more of a diamond in the rough and people my age (20) normally dont drive them. It demonstrates maturity and good taste. As a student I cant afford a Benz, the Aurora is a great car for my needs and comfort.

Just traded the Eldo for an '05 STS.Never been in a car with so many options...

-Back up sensors
-15 speakers,4 of which that are built into the seats(2 for each front set,on both sides of the headrest)
-power headrests
-memory seat
-PUSH BUTTON START!(my personal favorite)
-Cruise Control with HOD(If a vehicle pulls in front of you, it slows and adjusts to preset following distance. If another vehicle suddenly cuts you off, car brakes and provides warning.[this breaking system reacts faster then a human is capable of in this situation]When traffic clears, resumes set speed and following distance.
-Intelli-beam(this system turns on low beams when detecting oncoming headlamps or preceding taillamps of other vehicles.it turns on high beams when road is clear. It ignores light from other sources such as street lights to prevent unnecessary dimming.
-remote starter
-Memory presets (this includes inside temperature, window defrost and heated or ventilated seats, and radio sations.the doors unlock as I approach my car, even while the remote is in my pocket. So as Im approaching my car,it senses the remote in my pocket and sets all that for me.and it even knows the second driver's(my g/f,she has remote #2) preferences.
-Heated and cooled seats in the front and rear, heated and cooled cupholders, and heated and cooled steering wheel and shifter knob.
-steering wheel controls.
-tells me my tire pressure
-its got POWER tilt and telescopic wheel
-rain-sensing wipers

Not bad eh?Sorry if I went on really long.I think all those "bells and whistles" are cool as hell.
