Since Im living at moms place, I usually have a candle burning in my room to help with stink management so thats no problem. I would ask if there was a noticeable difference in the effect/feel but since you picked up some high quality shit and a new pipe thats probably hard to say for sure

Re: SERIOUSLY OT: Calling all chicks! IT'S PART 6!!

Yeah, cant say for sure. I got like 6 feet of it I think it was- I'll use it all and see how it is long term. Here is the solution that I ended up doing: didnt have any little tubing, so I cut a strip of aluminum out of a Rolling Rock can, made a little rolled up tube like thing, duct taped it to the side of my lighter. Push it up and when you light the lighter it lights too, then to put it out just pull it down into the tube, and it doesn't smoke like blowing it out does.

Dabs are stupid. Especially when you get the stuff from someone who is doing it cheaply, and therefore dangerously. You don't really need to buy anything special to use the stuff, unless you're doing it the "right" way, where you're using indirect heat rather than just taking a lighter to it.

But the shit is dirty. Jam the material in a tube, with a plug on each end. Both plugs have a hole in the center; one end for the drip and one end to jam the butane into it. After jamming almost an ounce of material, and using 2-3 butane cans, you're left with very little stuff, that's unprocessed. After letting the butane "evaporate" (yeah...right), or cooking it off (or causing a fire), it still has residue in it.

Some people think that it's perfectly safe at this point, but it's still at an oil consistency. The material itself isn't oil, so why is the end result? Because it's riddled with butane toxins. Then people got a little smarter and buy expensive vacuums, to further suck out more toxins. Usually turning it into what is commonly referred to as wax.

Blah blah blah, it's just a bunch of nonsense. If you have material, buy some bubble bags or dry ice bags, some dry ice, and a bucket that the bag fits over the top completely. Fill the bucket, pull the bag over, shake like crazy on a clean surface. You'll have more keif than you've ever seen in your entire life, without crazy chemicals.

Wait so put the dry ice in a bucket with the bag over it and put the pipe with the resin on top of the bag? In the bucket with the dry ice?

I think there are steps missing. I'm so confused. I think you put the bud in the bag with it? then the dry ice eventually all evaporates.

Nope, no pipe or resin involved. You take your plant material and some chunks of dry ice, and throw it all in a bucket. Then pull the bag over the top, so the screen part of the ice/dry ice bag is flat over the open end of the bucket. Then just hold the bag tight at the bottom end of the bucket, flip it over, and shake.

Edit: The dry ice freezes the tricomes (keif) off of the material instantly, releasing it to freely move through the screen. It also helps to pulverize the material, to even more easily get the tricomes past the plant material.

Ahhhh so... I get it now. Sounds quite doable if I could get hold of some dry ice. Im sure its available if I were to look
