Re: Huh? is this a real car?
Ruf is not an affiliate of Porsche as there is no close connection between Porsche and Ruf. On top of that Ruf neither brings nor receives or associates as a branch of Porsche. Word usage is critical when it comes to describing things.
Why buy an overpriced Ruf RGT when the GT3 is just as fast? Considering that Porsche can afford to do numerous testing regimens around the world as oppossed to Ruf who only do local testing programs without the same amount of information gathering like Porsche. Gemballa is definitely a tuner I would stay away from. I don't want to get into that right now. |

Re: Huh? is this a real car?
One of the yellow GTR 600s on the site caught on fire years ago. I've seen the pictures from the owner of a disclosed Porsche news site and it wasn't pretty. The owner is currently having legal issues with Gemballa, which has been going on for years now. I honestly think you must be crazy to crave a little more horsepower from any particular Porsche 911.

I see the point. However it's a different story with Ruf or Alpina who are recognized manufacturers in Germany. I would shop from those guys since they develope the cars fron the ground up as opposed to Gemballa or Koenig...
