I have a car question not quite worthy of its own thread...

Is there any way possible that rain could make a transmission mount worse? I've visually checked it and it appears to be okay but it has all the symptoms of a busted one when I drive in rain.

I've got a new one ordered anyways, just asking. Thanks.
