vaccum

Help I have a 83 spirit with the 258 in it. When I got the car it had been
in storage for 10 years plus the 2 years since I got it. I had 2 other projects
to complete and get rid of before I could start this one

Question 1: It just seems like there is alot of vacum lines. I'm wondering
which one do I need and don't need?

Question 2: There is a set (3) appears to be plastic lines thats on the valve cover in the rear
What Are they for?

Question 3: What can I remove?

Thank you All inputs will be greatly appricated

Thanx again

Bill

Re: vaccum

vacuum lines should be documented on the vehicle emissions label.

Not really sure on the 3 hard plastics, the could vacuum as well.

Re: vaccum

Parts for the 1965 Rambler can be a bit harder to find since it's not as common as other makes, but there are still places that specialize in classic AMC parts. Websites like RockAuto, Classic Industries, or even AMC-specific forums and clubs can help you find what you need. As for reliability, with regular maintenance, it should be a solid car, but make sure to budget for things like brake pads, oil changes, and regular tune-ups. Just be prepared for the occasional repair, but overall, it can be an affordable and fun first car.

Re: vaccum

Good info, but look at the age of this inactive thread, 16 years plus
