1:25 Shelby Series 1

This is one kit that i've been wanting to do for a while, but for Jay, Warren and Dan i will paint each piece individually this time and not take the loser way out. here is a preliminary pic of the kit.

Problems already, the only color i have that would slightly match the body color is like a silver/chrome color. i feel it is too flashy and metalic for the body so i will have to go get a different color for the body and a gray color for the interior. see you kids in a bit:licker:

A very nice kit . I remember doing mine - but I used the red decals instead of the blue. My suggestion is - Don't use red, because it look pink when you're done .

As for body colour, Silver is fine - thats what I used for mine, and it looks pretty nice. I do remember having fitment issues with the car though. Sometimes, you get a kit where the plastic is all screwed...

Have fun with it - Merc.

I've finally finished painting all the pieces, yes warren, every single piece. now i'm waiting for the paint to dry, then i have to put on afew decals then i can start assembling the model. painting each piece is a pain, takes 4 times longer to complete the dang thing! i've also purchased a tamiya model, i'm not going to tell you what it is now because its a surprise

Ok here is the final project. this has to be the worst model i have ever has the misfortune of dealing with. none of the pieces fit right, the decals were the worst quality i have ever come across. i just didn't like it at all! so i will post a pic and close the thread because i hated this model so much, you guys don't understand. i don't think i am going to buy another revell model again, tamiya from here on out.
