95 blowing white smoke out of vent when using AC?
Hi, I have a 95 that is blowing white smoke (it is not really smoke but seems like it just no smell no heat) the AC still works fine just blows white out... also it does not do this on the highest setting. anyone have a clue what it could be?

smoke out of ac vent
I suspect that it is water vapor being released from the melting of collected ice on the evaporator. I also suspect it is only occuring on very high humidity days? If it has no smell, such as antifreeze, you have nothing to worry about.

thanks Jim[/quote] Best trick I know of is take it and have it fixed. If you are going to keep it make sure you get a FORD OEM heater core. Many aftermarket cores fail within six months of intsall. The whole dash has to come out no way around it. I think it pays about 8 hours of labor at a shop Mike |
