Hey guys,

I'm a student in Milwaukee and I'm looking for some place decent to go to have work done on my car. Right now, I just need my engine tuned up. I don't wanna go just anywhere, because I've been ripped off a few times out here. Hopefully spmebody can rocommend an honest place. Also, where are some good places to go to buy parts / ask advice? I know quite a bit about cars but not quite enough to know exactly what to buy off the internet. Anyways, can anyone tell me where some good places are around Milwaukee?

You know, ive been looking for the same thing, but have found nothing. Theres a place in Madison called Dyno Tuned, but ive never been there. They have a dyno. The only stores i know of sell either car audio or ricer shit.

Dyno tuned isnt to good here, very pricy if you ask me, like 150 for just an intake ect. So I dont think it would be worth the trip. Hmm I dont know of many other places. Sorry, not much help, oh and also the dyno isl ike 1/2 a mile away from my house so trust me.

actually, I really don't need a dyno tuning right now. unfortuneatly, i really can't afford any modifications at the moment that would require dyno tuning. all i need is just a basic tune up. my engine is just running shitty right now (95 civic ex). its 100% stock so just any decent honest automotive shop around milwaukee would work. I'm not from around here and i sure as shit am not goin to the dealorship so if anyone knows of anything.....

hey all i mark lacrosse back on here wanna bring the thread to the top again you may have seen me or you may have not dont spend a lot of time in wisconsin anymore due to being in the air force but i will be there for a good part of Nov i gots a 99 black ex coupe with a avenger kit on it lower about 4 inches with skunk2 coilovers sitten on lonig 17 holes silver i gots a AEM cai on its engine bored out .40 over got greddy exhaust plannign on putting in a b18c5 soon but due to the harsh winter that i receive up where im at its been ghettofid meaning stock rims raised back up and no sideskirts

No dont go to dyno tuned whatever you do. They will rip you off and they sure the hell dont know what they are doing. I know from experience and had to get a law suit against them because they FORGOT to put tranny fluid in my s1 tranny when they put in my b20-vtec. Then they tried to say it was my fault because i didn't check it....tranny locked up while driving back to milwaukee. They also hooked it up improper and sort of ghetto. Hey, I'm from Milwaukee. I got a 99 Si and i was wondering if anyone got any other good hangouts or street races in either Wisconsin or Chicago since highway 100 is getting shit on by cops. I lost my license for a year and i get it back on the 24th so if anyone wants to meet up or has anywhere to hang out or race hit me up. We got a small crew out here with a 300 hp GST, a WRX, a preety decent integra, and a corvette occasionally. My SI is stock for now but thats gunna change quickly.
