My first sports car was a Mustang and then I went to the corvette and then I got a BMW and then a Firebird. I have no one company I stick with, I am actually planning on buying a 89 - 93 Mustang right now and as you can see from my last post I already have the engine for it. I am a car guy not any specific brand even though I love F-body's from what I have found they are capable of without much invested but the Mustang appeals to the same market for the same reason.

this is way way late... but i would like to address what morely said to me. and i don't ahve to call names or act like a loose cannon to do it. i may have worded it incorrectly but the issue was third gen v8's vs. 4th gen 3.8's. (last time i checked a TTA was not a v8) and i said that the only third gen v8 that had a chance was the 350tpi. so if you get off on callin people stupid and acting like you know everything, you can do that somewhere else, you are not all-knowing so chill.

oh by the way ever heard heritage edition RS? with the 350tpi with corvette heads/intake/cam, 6-speed, 3-in exhaust, 3.42 gears, heritage stripes (like my car) and the same wheels as the GNX? ran 13.5 1/4 mile. but i wasn't really including limited production cars, which would also exclude the tta

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat as you, but I'm definately a Ford guy. I had a 69 Olds Cutlass 350, 75 T/A 455HO, 85 Monte 4.3, 89 5.0, 92 5.0, ALONG WITH SOME OTHER CARS I WILL NOT ADMITT TO OWNING! But all GM or Ford, and I've just had better luck with the Fords. I still TRY to keep up on GM, especially the T/A's & Z28's. Although, I've always loved the Stang, in high school I was definately a GM guy until my cousin and I argued about the IROC 350 vs. a Mustang 5.0. I said the IROC 350 would kill the 5.0. He told me to go drive a 5.0. So I did. And in two months I had my first Mustang. I always and still do love the Monte SS and IROC Z. I would like to get one of them but, I want another Mustang first. I'VE GONE 5 YEARS WITHOUT A HOTROD!! THAT'S WHY I WRITE BOOKS WHEN I'M ON THESE FORUMS. I'M GOING CRAZY!!!!! AFTER WE SELL OUR HOUSE I'LL GET ANOTHER TOY!!!
