finally some more progress

that's the stock part, I only removed all the molded bolts


replaced them with ModelCarGarage parts and added Sakatsu AN Fittings + electronic connector


and made a test fit on the engine



and the next parts are these, the fuel rails
At first I painted them with Aclad II polished aluminium. The top of the part (where the wires go in) is painted with Tamiya Smoke followed by Testors Dullcoat and detailed with ModelCarGarage Bolts. Each section between the injectors is covered with BMF Chrome.
It's quite hard to see in these pics but you may see it in the other pics or later...


this is a wire of the fuel rail which is detailed with a custom made boot. I simply used a larger diameter wire and cut it 2mm "donuts".
The yellow mark is a small decal stripe which I cut out of a Carpena Decal sheet. If you try this method use "micro sol" otherwise it won't stick to the wire



and this how it looks, the butterfly valves are a PE Part from the Perfect Parts set. It's polished with 4000# sandpaper and the "middle part" is painted with Aclad II pale gold


and the other side, where you can see that i managed to finish (about 98% ) the valve cover.
