Yeah i did that but,it was looking pretty good, the weaves lined up and it was spot on however since the the edge of the decal was damaged it started to curl once the clear coat got to it. so i had to rip it and start all over again. after the second bit of carbon was laid down i had bubles form all over the place, looks like moisture left over under the decal coz i only left it to dry for a day. so all in all the next time i lay the carbon down would make it the 4th.. its hard to do a step backwards since the first time i laid the carbon the finish was absolutely perfect! Anyway this kit will be finished even if i had to redo the hood another 10 times.

In the meantime i will finish up the rest of the car and work on the body last. Thanks again for the encouragement guys!

Re: Fujimi Veilside MR2 SW20 In Progress

sorry to hear of the problems. i had originally planned on this being my next build amongst the rest of the veilside cars i have, but now i'm wondering if i should save it for when i'm single or something.

other than the little mishaps (which could happen to anyone, especially me) it looks like this will turn out wonderful. as for the rims, imo, the ones in the box look a little too "busy" to go with the already outrageous bodykit. i think i'm gonna swap mine out with the Racing Star wheels from my Veilside Fortune 01 MR-S.

good luck with the rest of the build.

I just read this thing from start to finish and I am most impressed with the obstacles you hurdled and your carbon skills! Big respect! The interior looks amazing, as does that diffuser. I really like the color.

I hope all goes well from this point foreward! Good luck!

That interior is amazing. I love it. Man you have had the worst of luck it seems. Well I hope you get it done because I know that I am not the only one that wants to see it complete

Re: Fujimi Veilside MR2 SW20 In Progress

Sir you are a Godsend, I've been looking for ages trying to find a Veilside kit for an old SW20 model that's been sitting in my closet for the last few years. Didn't want to build it until I could find a kit, since the Veilside is my absolute favorite MR2.

Would be greatly appreciated if you could reply and/or PM with details as to where I might be able to purchase such a kit. Cheers.
