Dave, I'm just a beginner, but I'm trying hard. Will post a wip soon, when I work out how to take decent pics. When I do, you're welcome to make as many suggestions for improvement as you like. No super detail (yet). I don't really think you can crimp those collars, but a flatter/spun look with a tighter fit would look amazing - I only mentioned it because I thought it could add to the amazing perfection of your model. I think the only way to achieve that might be to try a different approach, I guess you could shape them on a lathe, but ok, your method is probably the most practical. I've posted 20 "wow, awesome" posts in a row - I figured it was about time I tried to make a helpful comment...

Dave,

The detail is amazing and also so clean.

How are you making the hoses, I don't recall seeing these in any of your other builds.

Good to see that you are sharing your work again.

This is totally out of this world and that is about what I'm able to say right now.

Nice build Dave, I've seen some of your work on other sites, so I'm not surprised by the outcome of this one ... as always, your work is TOP!

But, to build things like this, you need good ref pics. Where do you get them from?

I'd love to see what the builder would do with an F1 car.

Woah Dave,

another simply stunning masterpiece comes off the production line and another benchmark for us all to follow. Must fight the urge to get into NASCAR, must fight it... must... aaarrhhhh!

While Im on would you mind letting us know what you use for the silver hoses in your builds. They are so realistic its untrue.

Will be following your new build with interest and envy!

ps. I echo what Lumpy says - would love to see you tackle a 1/12 or 1/20 F1 car!

Absolute perfection buddy!!! I really love the look of those brass collars.... the realism is beyond cool!! I picked up a few packs for my BK car. I can't wait to see this beauty all buttoned up!
