Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Thanks guys! Little update:

360CS has kind carbon intakes, I reshaped kit's stuff with Light Curing Putty, reinforcements by 0.25 styrene.

Now I need some semi-gloss black and some carbon decals.

I also detailed engine bay side panels with holes for fixing bolts and the strange kind reinforcement, done by styrene.

Also this part will receive his carbon decals and some fantastic "Calibre35" bolts.

Last engine bay's panels: in the real thing this is a triangular sthich shaped surface: impossible to do in the model since the frame don't allow a non-planar surface, the left one is a reservoir's cover.

Ok, I redone interiors: at least old seats give me the chances to try decals seams but I understood that my old seat's finishing was crappy: I redone better on two more resin clones and I finally choose a fantastic (to me) scheme: yellow leather/black textile/carbon with blue body... seem cool to me

first stage of the dashboard, now it will receive details

PE seat's belt surround

PE pentagram grids with turned alu surrounds (yet painted black)

Seats: Vallejo air for yellow and SMS carbon decals back

I already done cooler control but.... sh## I lost those part, so I done a super-quick clone (since I need just 1 piece) with clay as mold, come out no bad... should be great after cleaning and painting

Ciao! Soon with more stuff!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Hi guys: litte update. I guess I'll update it often and (hopefully) finish until June, just'n time for Monza's modelling contest. So I decided to detail engine a bit more, and to do a second engine to show off the pony's belly, in standard (no CS) configuration, just to see back details and difference between models.
I also started to use my new PE set, some interior's goodies and engine details.
Job started from interiors: I done rubber mats (CS haven't carpet coverings to save weight) by PE, now I have to paint.

Than I reworked the steering wheel: I guess picts would be better than (gio's itanglish) words

also let me introduce my mate mr. crocgio: I etched also those by stainless steel an he cut and eat everithing in my desk: it was precious cutting the steering wheel

So I used my PE part for timing stuff's cover, in fact Tamy piece is molded with belts, pulleyes and stuff.

Obviously all the stuff above need to be painted, very soon
Time to detail airbox ducts and to add a couple of kind shaped roundels, I also scratcbuilt air mass sensors, later after painting I'll detail with wiring and connectors.

Last one: I think you'll guess why I done all those holes in the gear cover BTW drill 0.7 mm holes on 1 mm diam pin isn't fun!

Thanks a lot everybody to read, soon an update with parts finishing and engine accessories like alternator and pumps stay tuned!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

You're hilarious Gio. Putting a croc face on the saw! That is some magnificent photoetch work. I challenge you to build an entire model from scratch with nothing but PE!
