Neh, not all parts improves the car. It may although increase one factor, it might decrease the other factor. That's what I think though. So it is your choice to choose your combinations of parts for your car.

I dont know, ive never noticed any slowing down of the car as I upgraded..

Anyway, try to get record in Myogi with your R34.

only lyke 2 or 3 things give u speed....lyke wheels, exhaust and all that engine upgrade shit....neways the body kit upgrades increase the better handling ability....i hope this can help ya'll realise that

the only thing i noticed in my R34 was that the top speed increased, not the acceleration(spelling?). well after the whole rim, muffler, spoiler upgrade.

one question, i saw this guy with an S2000. when he finished, he had close to 6 million or somethin pts. so i thought the whole upgrading was done, but instead, the machine asked if he wanted to install this new muffler or somethin like that. when does that happen?

oh another, do u get to upgrade/install ne of the internal stuff? or is it a whole bunch of cleanup n tuning?

wheels dont do "shit", exhuast does not effect the car by more than a second, and the engine upgrade doesnt happen till 60k, and it doesnt help unless you're in a certain car (FD, AE86) nice try anyway

havent play the game for along time much less ver.2. anyways after the customizing upgrades are done, besides the option of swapping rims, every 15,000 points or so you get to maintain your car with like oil changes, plug wire change, coolant change, and etc. the maintenance will make your car slightly faster, not very noticable, only if you race a tuned one with a stock one.

R32 is faster car. Of course I would beg to differ but the times say it all dont they?

hey, it seems that here, the only kids who use ff cars are the kids from hong kong. Everyone else uses the cars they actually like, which i think makes the game more fun and more of a challenge. Its alot more satisfying to beat someone without using a handicap.
and about the car balances, i think they did an alrite job...the 86 is challenging in ver.2 because of the 11,000rpm thing. If you switch gears even 200rpm below 11000 u will lose speed going from 3-4th or 4-5th, 4-5th especially tho. my 86 has 750k on it and i just started an Evo III cause no one here uses it and im not sure they know about gettin the misfiring system so that should be kinda fun.

Oh yea, on irohazaka, people keep talking about the jumps, but every time i take the hairpins and i point the car right over the part with the dirt it just hits it and takes the corner around really fast, it doesnt actually jump over it, am i doin somethin wrong?

no cuz that's how i've seen it done...but if ur sayin u need to see the jump saying that u've done that LINE move on Iro, i don't think you do, sometimes you see it, sometimes you don't.

to answer your question penpen989; yes you can get the misfiring system it gets kind of annoying though. not sure if you can hear it on the aracde machine because you can barely hear the BOV on there.

but on the ps2 you can hear okay though.
