Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

Well it looks like I'll be working for the enemy for 2 weekends.

Yah, That's Right!

I, OverBoardProject, aka little laker, aka just 4 fun, aka Stu will be promoting Armor All for 2 weekends later this month.
And that's at everyone's favorite Canadian Auto store, Canadian Tire.

Nothing is signed yet, but it sure sounds like it'll happen.

Good thing that they didn't ask me to demo it on my own car, not that I have ever had problems with armor all. But so many other people have.
At least I know how to use it, unlike 1/2 the people out there.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

I hate those spamers that are going through our PM's

I wish that there was a way to sensor them out without blocking the serious ones.
I know that it's not possible though. (unless PM'ing becomes a feature limited to people that have actually made a post)

Blazee, did I do the right thing forwarding it to you, or should we take another approach? I don't want to plug up your mailbox

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

A letter to all spamers on Automotive Forums.

If we don't join your forum the first time that you send us a PM we probably never will. So please don't contact us again and again.

If you want to advertise Igor and the other AF administrators will be happy to sell you some advertising space.

If you can't afford it you can still ask them for a free link once. The worst that can happen is they might say No.

Some of us members with web sites might also be willing to give you a free link. Again just ask us once. You would also be expected to give us a link in return.

You can also get free advertising through Google
http://www.google.ca/addurl/?continue=/addurl
and Yahoo
http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
Plus MSN's search robots pick up on all new web sites quickly on their own

But please stop pissing every member and the moderators off on AF. We've got more important things to do than read your spam.

You did the right thing. If anyone else ever gets spam in their PMs, please report it to me, or Brian R. immediately. The faster the mods know about it, the faster we can shut those f***ers down.
