Re: Progress - Tamiya Ferrari 312T3
Murray Kish, I've had the fortune to see it in person, and it's a little masterpiece!
There's only one LARGE problem I have with Robrex's work... and that's that I have to go up against it should I decide to enter any local or state competitions!!! Awesome work again Rob! |

Re: Progress - Tamiya Ferrari 312T3
Hi Rob,
Loving the work, obviously. Like the way you mod'ed the rear of the sides so that they scoop upwards differently for the car you are recreating. Nearly every reference I see of this car has different detailing there. Would like your thoughts/experience on separating the sides from the monocoque, and also the front cowling from the rear... was it easy to get them aligned again? Also, I would be curious to hear your views on white paint -v- white decals. Which did you go for? Thanks as ever for the inspirational work on this model. BillyPee |

Re: Progress - Tamiya Ferrari 312T3
Rob,
she looks great my friend, really really impressive as ever. You improve my own work with every picture you post. Of the zillion questions I could ask, what do you use to produce your scratched turned metal stuff as I want to invest in a lathe of some description myself. Sean |
