really like your drag civic, in fact i'd show it to a friend last night and is reply was: man it look just like a real one. awesome! i must say, i agree with him. i really like the front end, did tought of making a vacu-form replica of it? i'd sure be interested to by one if affordable.

First coat of paint is on. The roof looks kinda shittie. You can see where I filled in the sunroof. Im gonna see of there is anyway I can hide that as I go along. Beside that so far so good. As you can see it wont be ready by tomorrow for the contest. Put me down as a DNF.

I used masking tape, then just airbrush lightly close to the edge of the tape. This way you just get some overspray on the silver surface. Peel the tape and it gives you a crisp line. Then i took a pice of ignition wire and dipped it in paint to dot the rivets on.
