Re: 1/12 69 Camaro Pro Street
Well Russel i dont have any updates as of yet. I have almost come to a stop on my Camaro. You see i have run into many personal problems. From needing a new job to blowing an engine in my daily driver and having to bower other peoples cars. I also had to refinace my house. Whit all the stress and things happening i havent been able to sit down and relax to build. I been wanting to cast some parts from the Skyline i bougth from you [seats/intercooler] but i havent been in the mood lately. Just been seating here picking my nose lol..... I did buy a 57 chevy off of ebay that was partially done as a pro street and i continued the process but with my parts. Here are some pictures......
Before: ![]() ![]() After: ![]() As for the Camaro, Well just little adjustments here and there...... ![]() Here you can look at my Photo Album...http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...9cars/?start=0 |

Keep your chin up and keep plugging!!! Anyone who has the tenacity and drive to complete a model like the ones you build has more than enough pluck to overcome personal set-backs like those!!!

Re: 1/12 69 Camaro Pro Street
Hello,
New to the forum... I came across your forum project while googling for resin aftermarket parts for my 1:12 camaro project. I haven't been building models long and am no where near the level some of you other guys are at. I just wanted to say.... Absoluetley outstanding project you got there Ralph. I am amazed how you were able to scratchbuild some of those must needed parts for your project. Couple of questions.. Has any one ever made 1/12 scale american racing wheels? Would you consider selling a resin automatic transmissions? thanks canuk_bowtieguy |

Check out www.largescalemodeler.com
LOTS of large scale stuff over there, and I think Ralph may be a bit more active in that forum. Check out rgondeck, rick has some resin transmissions and wheels I do believe

Re: 1/12 69 Camaro Pro Street
no problem, I'm known as black2002ls over on that forum, you can find some of my work there as well as in the thread right below this one. You will find in your large scale journey that a lot of parts you will have to make or find someone to make for you. There is a small community of us who are trying to create our own parts and then cast them in resin, I've got a turbo, LS1, big brakes and big wheels in the works for pro-touring type builds.

Re: 1/12 69 Camaro Pro Street
Thanks Canuk for the compliments. Means alot to me. As Russell stated earlier youll find alot of great guys at larger scale. Rick is a great guy and im sure youll find what you need with him. I still have all my projects and this one still being my favorite has been put away. I have lost my house like so many and have had a big change in life. I guess in my case a blessing in disguis cuz now i have a bigger house that i just moved into this last december. Most of my projects are still in boxes and to find the molds and parts will take me a while. I still love building models and i still have my pro touring 1/12 camaro and my pro street 57. I was totaly surprised to get your e-mail. Brougth a smile to my face. I thougth this tread was long gone. Im glad to see its still here. Kinda makes me want to pull that Camaro out....

Re: 1/12 69 Camaro Pro Street
Russell at LSM its comp1839 who is the awsume machinest. His work is the best i have ever seen. Leaves me speechless. If i had that talent i sure would be selling my stuff on ebay. I think rick gets some things here and there and puts them in molds and sells them on ebay. Its been a while since i been there so im not excactly sure. All i know is i need to jump on the horse again.......
