you have no idea what it takes for my car to be fast... the fastest RS in the world runs 11.5 i am within a second away with no traction... i didnt put the money in the car to be in the 9s, i am happy where i am at now, and if i start pushing the nitrous in all gears i might be able to take that world record! thats what i am goin for... i dont like to be the same as everyone else thats another reason i turboed my car... and for the fact the car is sentamental to me cause its all i have from my dad when he died! i work for everything i have, i dont have sponsors... as a matter of fact i have turned down plenty of them cause i want to do this alone to prove a point... that it doesnt take a shit load of money to be quick and you dont need no big sponsors or a company to give you shit, like HRC they are way overpriced and it would have cost me around 12-15000 if i would have gone thru them, but i was smart and researched first!!

now whos the loser... i dont see you coming close to any world records, just a record for being the slowest!

3) As of right now, his "rice burner" would stomp all over your Rustang that runs a 13.4, so there is NO WAY he is getting a time that your Rustang could get "in reverse"

5) Jake did not buy the RS to make it the fastest car on the road. It is a very fast car, but you simply CANNOT make a 420a the fastest eclipse possible. You are putting down the base model of the eclipse, comparing it to a Cobra. Lets see you compare Jake's car to a BASE RUSTANG. I would not waste 25 seconds of my life to see the rustang finish that race
6) I will not stop calling your SVT a Rustang, because you are an asshole. You will not get sympathy from this forum for having paid too much for your ride, if that's what you want, and everyone here will maintain the abilities of our cars, so take your shit elsewhere. ok ok you say 14.9 for the eclipse and 13.4 for the cobra.hmm ok you got a v8 compared to a 4cyl. not much faster on that v8 there. just goes to show you if an import company would make a v8 it would blow the fords away. just take the evo for instance.........i rest my case

according to www.edmunds.com, you can get a 94 Cobra(identical to the 95) for about 5200 dollars, retail

now lets go shopping..

for 2200, you can get a Holly SystemMAX engine package(pg 7 of MM&FF) that will put down about 350 hp on a dyno.. now throw on top of that a 100 shot of N20, cost about 500..

and you have a car that will run (with traction) atleast an 11.5@115.. also, it depends on how much money you want to spend.. but ultimately, the Mustang WILL be faster than the DSM.. when it comes right down to it, the statement "there is NO replacement for displacement" is true..

True, unless you throw away half of the cylinders and strap on a turbo . Go ask John Sheperd or Steve Buschur about displacement, and they will eat your SVT alive to prove a point with 4 cylinders at less than 9 seconds.
