We still have a long ways to go. The first one lasted for 6200+ posts. Let's beat it.

Re: Seriously OT: The Real 3rd Thready...

Well, it finally happened... as of right now my car is FUCK'D!

**Short Version so I don't bore people - Fuckidy fuck fuck. Car overheated, kept driving, coolant everywhere, drove some more, engine knock/rattle, check engine light; big fucking hole in my radiator. (believe me you'll thank me for the short version.)**

So tomorrow I have to buy a new thermostat, snag my friends old radiator (maybe trade him my slipstreams for it and for helping me do the work), coolant, and possibly a headgasket (all at Pep Boys employee discount). Of course this is best case scenerio, but with my luck (and that fucking knock!) I probably fucked the whole engine up. Luckily I have a great friend and he let me borrow his 4dr to get home and back tomorrow.

Radiators are cheep man, dont trade wheels for a radiator.

Why would you buy a new crank derek?

Sweeeet, that's what I'm looking forward to. My friends didn't seem like they were that worried when I told them about the knocking, but they also didn't get to hear it. It wasn't any pansy ass heat shield rattle either (I hear that every time I put my car into a higher gear too soon).

I know radiators are cheap, but he'll also be helping me do what needs to be done (like when I have $, he'll help me with my swap/turbo). And I want to get rid of the rims anyways, and I bought them from him originally. Either that or I'll see if one of his friends wants them. I don't even know what I'm currently typing, I'm so high right now; just to dull the pain. But if I'm having problems now, I think my dreams of eventually having a high comp turbo'd D just died. Fuck that, stock itr or h22a swap with basic bolt-ons for me (ok...maybe an OE honda cam or 2). I said funk dat.
