Thanks for the inspiration guys, and motivation. Last week I was at a real low, threatening to just quit. Willimo, and a few others had known about the decision. However, after talking with some of my metal shaping buddies they suggested I continue it for the better of my career. Another knows some people and can get my name out there should I choose to finish it.

I decided to pickup a new motor while they were on 50%. Im building a ford, so I wanted to use a ford. My first plan was to convert the Hemi into the Ford 427, but two months later the Ford 427 made its way into the stores. Figures. Yadda-yadda yadda, here are some pics.

Today I welded up a new jig that holds the frame at ride height, and it also holds some wheels mockups. This means that I will now be starting the foam buck. A buck is used to make templates off for steel. I am also using the buck to come up with the design. After talking with they guy that is going to help me get me name out there, suggested that I be unique. Therefore the design is altered a little.

Sorry for all the reading. Theres nothing I can take pics of except for the motor as of this moment. Once again, I really appreciate the comments. When I am low, you bring me up. When I mess up, y'all dig me out. When I'm pissed off...well, its usually best to duck low.

on the first pic of the 427, does the price tag say $2922, or is it $29.22 ?

29.99, plus the Hobby Lobby 50% off, ended up being only $15. If it was $2922, I think I would go out and buy a full scale 427. Hobby Lobby has really weird illegible price tags sometimes.

I also forgot to add that I will be converting the motor to EFI for the nice clean look. If it were muscle I'd keep the carbs...and the hemi. So an EFI conversion will follow latter.

EDIT: 1000th reply. Woot, just realized.
