I was a porter on a used car lot around 1980 and we had a Jade colored '78 Scirocco for a while. It was my favorite car for running errands. I tried to hide it so it wouldn't get sold. Man it was fun.

They were later manufactured in Dallas (renamed Vetta Ventura's) for a while before the money ran out. Cool looking car IMHO. The front end reminds me of a Maserati Mistral. 76 examples still live.
