Anything General Motors as Obama screwed me out of my stocks by declaring them void and then re-issuing them under another name. In the real world, this is called theft !

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
My top 5 is:
-Ford Taurus (the rounded design generation) -Dodge Neon (first generation) -Pontiac Azteck (but i liked the concept car) -Cadillac Cimarron (worst badge engineering) -Mitsubishi Eclipse (latest generation, it does not use any heritage in it's design) |

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
I hate Hongqi Sedans a very copycat of Audi AG...
Made in CHINA ![]() Audi supplies most of the fleet for Chinese officials but this may now change as the Ministry of Industry and IT has included three homegrown models in its new vehicle product list, Hongqi Sedan is one of it.

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
I hate the Toyota Prius as well. It felt like driving a desk with wooden brakes. What I hate the most about the Prius is the people who tend to buy them. The fuel mileage isn't really all that great. The Jetta TDI is where it's at.

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
hi i have owned a 96 buick skylark for almost 3 years i bought it in 2009 with only 21,000 miles the car now has 44,000 miles. An old lady owned it before me and had continuous problems and didnt want to put up with it anymore. I bought it knowing it had the starting problem. The car basically will only start when it wants to. When you go to start the car you need to turn the key on to the on position and wait for the dashboard lights to pop on.. somtimes it will take a min somtimes it will take 3 hours even more... the car will not turn over unless the dashboard lights have come on. I have never had anything mechanically wrong with it. When the car runs it runs excellent. The poor old lady who had it before dumped so much money into it and it never fixed the problem. I was researching online to see if any other owners of 96 skylarks had had this problem and there are similar stories. I decided to call buick and ask if my car had been recalled becuase its been to every mechanic in my city and nobody can figure out the problem it turns out YES IT WAS RECALLED i brought my car there and they honored the recall but said my car wasnt starting still... the recall is when you leave the key on the on position for an extended amount of time enough heat can melt internal wires.. whatever.. so i figured when they fixed the recall the starting issue would be gone and fixed... no its not and they told me it 110 bucks an hour for them to look at the problem.... i should not have to pay for this, other buick skylarks have this problem also, i think it has to do with the way these cars were made therefore it should be another recall and i should not have to pay for it. i told them that but they were not inclined to my idea. PLEASE OTHER OWNERS OF THIS CAR OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WITH THIS PROBLEM EMAIL ME SO I CAN TELL BUICK THEY SHOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH NO CHARGE TO THE OWNER! I DIDNT CAUSE THE PROBLEM, THE CAR HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE IT LEFT THE LOT IN 96 WHEN IT WAS SOLD BRAND NEW FOR $17,000. im serious email me with your cars issues.

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
owners of 96 buick skylarks with starting problems please email me and tell me your story
mine wont start unless you leave key on on position and wait untill dashboard lights pop on. somtimes it takes a few mins somtimes it takes a few hours... buick should identify this as a recall. by the way there was a recall on the car called IGNITION THERMAL CIRCUIT EVENT: if you leave key on on position for an extended period of time internal wires are at risk for being melted... hey go figure the car wont start unless you keep the key on the on position email ASAP so we can discuss this [email protected] or [email protected] |

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
I didn't see any timeframe or ownership requirements, so based on that-
70-something Ford Maverick 170" six. Gutless, deadly handling, carb loosened regularly, R shock mounts ripped out, and as cheap looking and feeling as you could get. Got it cheap when cheap counted and coat-hangered it together for a year till I could do better. It wasn't worth the $15 the junkyard gave me for it when I got a real car ![]() Worst I've driven- Renault "Le Car". Gutless, funky to the extreme, even more cheaply made than the Maverick, and rode and handled nearly as bad. Parts were expensive and had to be ordered and died as fast as the originals. Total junk from new. I see many comments about looks and am reminded of an old hot-rodders saying: "Chrome won't get you home". It's more about how well it works than what it looks like ![]() Phil |

Re: Which car did you hate the most?
Quote:
Obama had NOTHING to do with this. It's the bankruptcy laws in your country that allowed this to happen. GM went bankrupt. So all claims against the "old GM" including your stock ceased to exist, as per US bankruptcy laws. This kind of thing happens daily in the US. There were over 89,000 business bankruptcies in 2010. If you want to blame something, blame 40 years of dubious GM management, how they pissed away 50% market share and billions of dollars in capital. |
