That's perhaps because the GTA franchise is not exclusive, and was distributed over PC, PS 1 and 2, PSP, and the XBox, whereas Halo was confined to the SeXBox and PC, and Halo 2 was only for the XBox. Also, there are only 2 installments for the Halo series, whereas GTA has many more than that.

Not hating on GTA (I love that game, who doesnt), but gauging a game's popularity in terms of millions raked in via franchise can be a tad iffy, since you don't take into account the above factors.

Halo 2 is coming for pc and running on window vista only.
BTW I dont know how we turn this topic, from first person shooting PC game in CONSOLE wars.

PS3 won't even have that many units sold by the end of the year...mostly because they couldn't produce that many lol

I saw one, I was horribly unimpressed. It would definately amuse little kids, but damn, the graphics were barely better than the original xbox and the game play was weak as hell. Thats what a low price tag in a sea of higher priced units will do.
