Re: Blackcrow64's Talon Project... Warning: Lots of pictures!

I'm not saying I would have done different in your situation, just that if I had $240 in my pocket I wouldnt buy a fuel pressure gauge unless I had everything else done

True, but now I have all the gauges out of the way and don't gotta worry about that at a later time now... Anyways, I still have a lot of work to do. Either way I gotta buy it all sooner or later. With this I can finish the interior instead of waiting around and just get it out of the way.

Any progress on your 7 bolt yet?

Re: Blackcrow64's Talon Project... Warning: Lots of pictures!

Whoever said taking the dash out is easy was full of shit... I mean its not absolutly horrible, but I would never wanna do it again.

Anyways...... So heres a few nice little update pictures for you guys to chew on for a while. After I got it all out tonight I realized that it would be pretty sweet to give it a full race dash.

I don't think it would be too hard to do. It would only need a simple aluminum frame and the rest can be molded with fiberglass. If I were to actually do this I wouldn't be putting the stock gauges back in at all. It would get a whole nice set of Autometers and I would do away with the a-pillar pods.

So here it is guys... Gimme some thoughts on my idea... Or should I just stick with redoing the interior stock and black?

How the hell do I get these things for the seat belts off?? I have pryed and pryed and am worried I'm gonna break em off if I pry anymore. I figured that it was just a snap cover and then I could take the bolt out and it would come right off the raise track.

Cool. Haven't seen any updates on this in a while.
You can never go wrong with stock and black interior. But the race inspired idea is kinda cool too.

Heres the quick concept sketch I did... IF I were to make my own dash this is probably how it would be... Who knows what I'm gonna do. lol

50 bucks...

Gotta love friends with extra DSM parts laying around. I believe he actually paid 100 for them out of the bargin bin at Summit because they had already been opened once. Nothing wrong with em though so its all good.

But I do believe that they are originally in the price area of 300-400 dollars.
