Re: 1/12 Porsche 910 progress thread

Thanks for the comments, everyone. This is supposed to be a warmup for my Porsche 934 and 935 builds. It is based on a restoration that Gunnar Racing did a couple of years ago.

Beware Cingster! A lathe is just the first step. Next, you'll want a mill!

Awesome! It really is, as the other guys said, just like the Gunnar rebuild! Fantastic, loving this thread!

Re: 1/12 Porsche 910 progress thread

3/2/06 update

Finished the interior, added brake ducts and worked on the bat-tree.

I used a little gray weathering powder to bring out the lettering on the sidewall. The bottom of the rim has a wheel weight taped to it.

I machined the safety harness buckle. The other hardware is Alcladed resin. Straps are medical tape, colored with a Sharpie marker.

General layout pic.

Detail of bat-tree.

Detail of tail light lenses with fastening screws.

Brake ducts seem to fill a space in the rear and make it look a lot more complete.

Tail light wiring will be terminated soon!

Sensational update. But I'm a bit worried - save something for those 934 and 935 builds, don't peak too early!
